4月15日，斯凯孚中国研究与技术开发经理潘云飞，制造技术经理慕斌一行来到河南科技大学举行《轴承创新设计及智能制造》开班仪式。仪式在西苑校区南十报告厅举行。教务处、机电工程学院负责同志参加开班仪式。开班仪式由机电工程学院副院长仲志丹主持。
开班仪式上，机电工程学院副院长王晓强指出，有“轴承黄埔军校”之称的河南科技大学与全球顶尖轴承制造商斯凯孚合作探索项目制教学改革，将有力推进我校机械类新工科双创人才培养再上新台阶。潘云飞指出，斯凯孚拥有一支工程实际经验丰富、职业素养高，掌握先进技术的企业专家队伍，将与河南科技大学轴承专业教师形成优势互补，共同推动轴承人才培养体系的创新，进而建立与学校互利共赢、共同发展的全面合作关系。
开班仪式结束后，斯凯孚中国制造技术经理慕斌进行了课程的讲。慕斌紧扣智能制造技术，从智能制造含义到智能工厂再到机器人技术等，深入浅出的把技术前沿融入到授课内容里，让知识不再是孤立、乏味的点，而是一个汇集着许多相关知识和技能的立体的场。
此次开班仪式旨在进一步落实《河南科技大学与斯凯孚中国战略合作框架协议》，双方将以此为契机，在人才培养、科学研究、社会服务等领域开展更深入、全方位的合作。
